Description:
The design and selection of diesel engine fire pumps should not only meet the requirements of the most
unfavorable flow and head of fire fighting, but also consider the requirements of diesel engines for fire
protection products due to intrinsic safety when the diesel engine is used as the power source of the fire
pump. In addition to the electric start method, it should also have functions such as mechanical pump start,
unit cooling, overspeed protection, manual cranking and mechanical energy storage start.
Features:
The biggest difference between a diesel engine fire pump and an electric water pump is that it has its own
independent power supply system—battery. Therefore, the startup and operation of the diesel engine fire
pump can be completely separated from the city power.Diesel engine fire pumps are usually used as backup
facilities. Therefore, they are automatically started only when the fire fighting signal comes, and when the
electric water pump fails or the power supply is cut off. When it has an ultra-low pressure pump starting device,
the electric water pump control cabinet supporting it should also have an ultra-low pressure pump starting device,
and the lower limit of the two pump starting points should have a certain pressure difference. Of course, I can also
